"What have you learned today?"

This is a common phrase I used to hear from my teacher when I was young. I'm sure a lot of us here is familiar or somewhat have heard of it. Today, have you tried asking yourself this question?
Do you contemplate on things and events, that had happened during the day, before going to sleep?
Have you ever been thankful in what you are learning everyday?
Today, I learned that God never abandons those who prays to him.

That is a very good question! When I read it I thought well I haven't done much today so I haven't really learnt anything, then I realised that I had learnt something after all. I went into town this morning, and it was a beautiful Sunny Sunday morning, and very quiet. I was looking at the beautiful old buildings, and wished I had my camera with me. So, I learnt today that it would be a good idea to take my camera with me when I go out.

I was aiming for something more deeper that is why it is in the life category
. Somehow, I think I can accept your answer because you were talking about your life experience today hehe.

By the time that you have got to my age, I hope that you will have already learned the profound and important things in life! These things don't happen on a daily basis - that would only indicate that you have gone through life with your eyes shut. I assumed from your question that you meant new things that you have learned during the day.

I know what you mean sometimes we do take our good luck for granted .The birds in trees, the rabbits running in the field the sound of the children playing happily in the park yes we are very lucky.I am grateful for being happy and having a wonderful husband and wonderful kids, grandkids, friends ,neibours who all contribute to making my life happy and I to them I hope.It may not be perfect our life but it is a lot better than some lives others have to endure.

Finally, someone did care to read what the discussion is all about. I'm happy for your answers, it's just that I'm not quite sure on what to respond
I wonder though, is the discussion really that hard to understand or maybe I'm just not that good expressing things in writing.
Anyway, I really love your answer and how you put them in words. Clear and concise

I learn today that I am always doing procrastination on thing I have to do. I do plan for what I have to do today and short time goals but to make it happen it is always late. I realized that there are so many things I had just wasted like my online earning. I observed I am being tardy and when I am facing a problem I will remember my online earnings again, then will work hard again and slows down again. It happens as a cycle . I learned that if I had become productive for the first time I planned it , maybe now my short time goal already happen. But now I learned that I always have a chance to be productive . I just have to make it happen and to make it real.

Wow! I'm glad to hear you learned a lot today!
Sarcasm aside, I'm really not pertaining on what you've learned literally in school. Anyway thank you for your response:)

I learnt that there's always someone worse than us. Therefore I am thankful for my life right now. I used to complain that I don't have a steady job and good income but there's a lot of people affected by recession and lose their job. At least I still have payment until the end of my contract. I am also thankful I still have a house to live in and being able to feed my stomach well.

I agree with you completely. What a wonderful thing you've learned. I hope many of us will learn how to be thankful in our lives now than be envious to what others have achieved in life
