Goats love bread!

At the stable I work at I also take care of two pypmy goats names Tucker and Casper.I found out they love to eat bread! Just about every day I feed I'll give the goats some bread besides their hay and hay! They love it! Tucker is in the photo!

Tucker is cute. Goats also love straw purses. When my children were young I took them to the San Diego Zoo in California. We went to the Children's petting zoo section. There they had young goats along with other animals, of course. As we walked around looking at the animals, this young goat just walked up alongside me and started nibbling on my straw purse. He took some healthy bites out of it too. Everyone there got a good laugh out of it. Several ladies fled the area because they were carrying straw purses or wearing straw hats annd shoes.

Thanks fro the response! Goats will try to eat just about anything! tucker is a stinker! He will get out his pen he shares with his brother at least once or twice a month! Usually we can't figure how he got out! Goats are never dull animals!

Hi bluepacker, the local goats don't eat hay they eat wild greens, whatever is growing along the lanes or tracks they amble down in great numbers. They seem partiularly keen on olive snacks and chew on the branches and I love it if they come this way as eat my overgrown grass. There seems to be a lot more goats around this year which is a most pleasant sight.
