Or is it just life..? The brakes have gone out on our car. We have borrowed my nieces car, and hubby went out this morning and it didn't start. LOL we got a jump from a neighbor. People have called us wanting to borrow $$$. Son has low grade fever from teething. Daughter went back to school after being sick. It just goes on. Who else has weeks like this?

My dad's car is needing a overhaul and messed up they haven't been driving it, my mom's van needs new brakes which they just got the other day but now it seems the axle is going out of it also..and my sister joined a dance pups thing at school so she has to be picked up and also has to go on Sundays to dance school. I just hope she won't have to miss out on it and that they can get everything fixed. They say trouble follows in three's so I am hoping that we don't get any more. Well good luck on getting things fixed at your end. Lat thing we all need is more trouble.

Hi ersmommy. Maybe it's a little bit of both. My husband and I have had days like this. And just when we think it'll get better, it usually gets worse. For example, a car that we bought a couple of years ago went out on us about 6 months after we got it. As we were expecting to get the stimulus check a few months down the road we figured that we would use that to get the car fixed. However, my husband wanted to get it done the right way and that meant that we didn't have quite enough money. Once we got the check I put it in the bank so we could save it and fix the car on a later date. But a few months after we got it, we found out that my father-in-law was in really bad shape (health wise). So I told my husband to use the money to fly down and see his dad. Unfortunately he didn't make it in time to see his father one last time (his dad passed away the night before his flight). But we still spent the money on my husband's trip as it was way more important for him to be with the rest of his family during this saddening time than it was for my kids and I to have a car to get around in.
Hopefully things will get better for the both of us and soon.
Take care and happy mylotting!

It seems everyone has weeks and months (even years) that theyu would like to forget. I don´t know why everything seems to happen all at once.
It is absurd to tell you, or anyone else, that there are worse things in the world than the pains we are suffering. Being selfcentered is part of our way to survive.
we have had some very difficult times now in our family. So bad that I decide to postpone a minor surgery because we should be centered in helping the ones who were worse.
Today I came bachk from staying at my daughter´s home as a babysitter. She had a misscarriage and had to go to the hospital. This doesn´t sound so terrible. Only that they wanted the baby SO bad! It´s a mourning.
It´s not bad luck, it´s life.
Take care!

I think it all happened coincidence and don't believe on bad luck. It just meet to a day accident. I don't believe on bad luck because my luck is only depends on me.

I also have car problems. The car I drive needs something fixed. I ignore the warning sign on the dash because I don't want to bring it to the shop and find out how much I need to get it fixed. Plus no car, if it gets repaired.
Trying to make ends meet is also is no help. Recession and bad luck don't go quite well.

I did. Last week and it finally ended.
My car's tyre was flat and I had a hard time changing it. Luckily it didn't cost much to patch it. Then, since my sister was in labor, my mom stayed at the hospital with her and her husband. My younger brother was sick with fever at the same time. It was raining heavily with strong wind for the nights they were there, I thought the roofs would be flown away. Good thing nothing happen and the baby is home now.
