how long will you hold your urine before going to the toilet?

when i was younger i can hold out same as you but now cant bcos i already had kidney infections and its bcos of holding out that long...

I don't hold my urine unless if I am travelling. If I am only at home, I void as soon as I feel urinating. I don't want to get any urinary tract infections and worst, kidney stones or acute renal diseases. If I could to, I don't urinate in public toilets which are dirty because it is most possible that we could catch UTI.

yea sometimes happends that i do that, because i dont like to use public toilets, they are dirty and thousnds of people use those. So if theres a chance i will not use public wc. They say that no matter how clean it is you can get some sickness from there. So i hold if i have to lol. Guys cant hold ..they have to make nut then ..

As much as possible, I do not hold my urine. Whenever I feel the urge to urinate, then I go to the comfort room to relieve myself. Perhaps when I am on a bus or jeepney where I cannot urinate, then I have to wait. But for as long as there is no reason for me to hold, then I will not. I have heard that it is unhealthy to hold on with your urine considering that it may cause problems with health later on. It might create stones in the bladder or in the kidney.

I cannot hold that such time as you said. I reason is I am not woman first of all and I am not having the capacity as much as you can. I can hold maximum 2 hours but whenever I get chance I will definately go for toilet. It is not good for holding urnine for that such time. I understand when no toilet is near you but if a toilet is near you and then if you do not go because it is dirty then no one can help you. You have to go no other choice.. I flush water whereever I go for toilet and some just do not bother in flushing toilets in my country. So, I tell them to flush water and even tell them will you leave your toilet like that. Then they will understand and immediately do flush water..

I could hold my urine for at least 30 minutes more than it it is a poison to me. I would really see to it that i find a nearest comfort room to urinate or else it would explodes causing me a lot of embarrassment. My father who is most of the times is living a sedentary lifestyles is often urinate could not hold it for a longer periods which makes him getting wet if fail to answer the call of natures.

I don't really like holding my urine but in cases it can't be avoided then I am left with no choice but to do so but not more than an hour. If I am in a bus and especially long distance travels, I am forced to hold it. Sometimes drivers are kind enough if you request them to stop shortly along the way. Yes, urinals and public toilets are rarely clean and hygienic so the women are in a terrible disadvantage.

I have kidney stone problem( calcium content develops like a stone inside my kidney)
Doctor says
1. it is normal to person who have large urine bladder
- i may have large urine bladder
2. if you hold urine for a very long time
- From my childhood i hold my urine for a very long time. During writing exam urine will kick in my bladder but i feel little shy to ask the teach " May i go to toilet "

Now i go to toilet for urine only THRICE A DAY

when I was in high school I used to hold it for six hours because the toilets wee really dirty and it did hurt a lot. I still do it sometimes but yes, I know it's really bad for your health. The fact is, some places are so dirty hat your choice falls between getting a bladder infection or getting some unknown other infection from the toilet -.-
