The first thing you did when you joined Live Journal.

It's been so long since i joined that I don't remember the first thing I did. But finding a community to join and picking a theme were probably the first things. There weren't as many features when I joined, like the Writer's Block, and I don't really have any interest in them. I just blog, read my friends' posts, and look in on a couple of communities.

Every once in a while I get really bored with Live Journal and delete everything. Then I start over again.

I originally signed up for LiveJournal to participate in a Web cartoon's blog/discussion page. I had started a blog at another site, but I later deleted that one and began blogging with LJ. My first blog post was made about a few weeks after I was involved in a car accident, while I was still recovering at an assisted-living facility I only made occasional posts at first. The posts became more frequent after I recovered and was able to go home again. Now I use LJ almost every day.

My communities and friends list included many people from the U.S. and Europe who share a particular hobby/interest with me. It's great to discuss the hobby with them, as well as read about the happenings in their everyday lives.
