Can Cell Phones Really Harm Our Health?

Well, in every good thing, there are some side effects that may affect our health. Mobile phones are useful today in homes business, and in other institutions. I have read an article many years ago about the effects of radiation from mobile phones. I think that the effect is not an immediate one but a long term effect. It's a good idea to control our phone use.

Hi getbrowser, I have heard about this and feel that there is probably some truth to it. However, I'm sure that if it's found to be too dangerous, someone will come up with an alternative. There is big bucks in the business so there is little chance that it is disappear from the market. Blessings.

i still think it's very very harmful to our health. but i don't know how to explain because i am not a scientist. i just know i easily get a headache after i talk for a long time on the phone. that obviously shows that it's harmful to our health.

I do more texting on my phone than I do talking, so I don't think the texting would be harmful, and when I do talk, I don't talk all that long on it either. You know though, I really havn't seen any warnings to the contrary, but if there is a danget, it has never affected me, as I never get headaches after talking, thank goodness. I dont' know how many people it does affect though, and not saying it doesn't affect any, but if there is danger, then I will have to take precautions just in case. I do read some where else about using cell phones while pregnant may harm baby.

According to the article, researchers found that mothers who used cell phones at least two or three times each day brought increased risk of developing hyperactivity to their children.

It says that use of the phones by both pregnant women and children should be "limited," adding that children who use cell phones are more likely to suffer from "disruption of memory, decline of attention, diminishing learning and cognitive abilities, increased irritability" in the short term, and that longer-term hazards include "depressive syndrome" and "degeneration of the nervous structures of the brain".

Hey getbrowser It is true that use of cell phone for long period can harm your body as due to creation of magnetic field radiation is discharging from the cell phone which is harmful for human being. In this regard several study was conducted and it has been revealed that due to radiation brain and ear etc. is being affected. I think if you use your cell phone frequently and for longer period conversation it will be harmful.

I believe it does. Studies have been made and the experts advice to be a litte careful. Prolonged use of putting the cellphones close to our ears is hazardous to health. And not only that, frequencies coming out of the cellphones are said to cause fire so drivers filling their tanks are advise to turn the cell phones off.

Since we don't see the immediate effects, people tend to disregard warnings and take everything for granted.

Actually, i believe any morden technical product with radiation will harm our health. These kind of things effect by cell.

These technical product really bring convience for us and I think we can not live without our cell phone nowadays. But getbbrowser, I think you'd better keep away from your cell phone when you are sleeping. And you'd better turn off the cell phone when you go to sleep.

Also, we should pay attention to our computer on every single day, take some measure to reduce the radiation. It is said that to put 2 bottles of water near our monitor can reduce the radiation much.

From centuries man have invented many things in science and technology. Though he has invented it for good purpose man is misusing it. For example invention of Atom bomb is also for good reason but we are destroying ourselves with it. Similarly cellphone technology was also invented for urgent communication or emergency purpose but now-a-days we chat for hours without any purpose. Many reasearches had already proved that long use of cell phone can be injurious as due to radiation created by its signals people may suffer from cancer and other disorders. So it is now in our hands to whether misuse it or use it only for urgent needs.I just suggest you to take care and use it only when needed which may not be harmful.
