Why do you think people worry about the end of the world?

I really find it difficult to understand why people are so obsessed with knowing when the end of the world is. I mean, when it's the end of the world (if that really exists) then it means nobody will live, so why worry?
I'll be worried if it's the end of the world and I'd be the only one left.
So, what is all the fuzz all about?

No one will be myloting, the world will be empty and I don't want left this world. Because all we have is so real, and I cannot leave my family or person I love. Thinks, if the world is never exist of course we wouldn't meet everyone here.

THats what i think as well. When the end comes its really not going to matter. We all die one day so why not live to see the end of all life. Which i wouldn't want it to happen in my life time because i want my son to outlive me. But i see what you mean everyone talks about it as if it can be prevented but if its in gods will it will happen and there is nothing we can do about it. Just face it.
