Help!!! I can't sleep email this discussion to a friend?

For about the last three weeks I have been unable to sleep through the night. I will wake up in the early hours of the morning and end up wandering the house aimless because no matter how much I try I can not get back to sleep.
I have to be up by 7am to get the children up for school.
My restless is also affecting my partner as I am waking him up when I get up he is not the best of sleepers at the best of times and I am feeling very guilty at waking him. Although he is very understanding it is just not fair on him.
By about 2pm I am falling asleep on my feet which is not good as I have my children to pick up from school at 3pm and then have to do their dinner.
I am also career for my partner and usually the one that holds it all together but I am just so exhausted everything seems such an effort. I am running on auto-pilot at the moment.
I even tried sleeping tablets but still woke up in the early hours of the morning.
Any tips to get a good night sleep would be gratefully appreciated.

well i also experience that one,i usually limit my water at night so i dont wake up in the middile of the night.i go early in bed,before sleeping i listen to mellow sounds sometimes i forgot to off the radio because i already asleep so when i woke up at in the morning the radio still on.the best way for me is to limit your water intake during the night.some says drink milk this will help ease you from sleeping. happythumbup

Thank you will have to try that and now I think about it I have been drinking a lot more at night so will cut back lets hope it works.

First relax your mind

Then dont be brooding over that you cant sleep, imagination is sometimes worse than the reality

Then lie down on your bed. Close your eyes and start telling to your yourselves - My feet go to sleep, my ankle go to sleep.. work this up till your head. You will doze off. Remember to do it slowly

Hi littleone, I think its all due to your daily routine and busy schedule. it is always better for you if yo cold relax before sleeping. just sum-up your whole day activity. Try to close your eyes and relax with open mind for few minutes than you find yourself cool and in peace. surrender

yes, a glass of hot milk before going to sleep will put u to sleep. i usually sleep late because i am online most nights. i sometimes stay up to 2am and i go by my biological clock and wake up at 6am. when i wake up in the middle of the night, i pray while lying down and fall asleep without finishing the rosary.

i will sleep for a long time and also want to go to sleep. you should don't think a lot and say a lot. you will always want to go to sleep very time if you don't have many thing to do.

well, littleone, from your discription, i know that you have a big problem in sleeping, my advise is your adjust your mood, try to be happy every second,and when the night comes, you should do some relax activity like doing some Yoga, read some stories, and have a cup of milk to help you sleep.
Sleep is very important to human's health, I think if you can not sleep for longer time, you may have to resort to the doctor, and get advise from them.
