Presidential term limitations, is 4 years enough?  

Russia allows two terms also. so now if they serve two terms is twelve years instead of eight - that's a whole other term.

I only say allowing six because most presidents are give both terms, 8 years with the thought being that during the first four they are really just laying the ground work for the second term. They have to dig out of what ever they inherited and then work on building relations with the houses and ground work for their policies.

It just seems to me at least there is a lot of time wasted during the four year term. Not to mention the cost savings to the nation by having fewer elections, and the lower number of opportunities for voter fraud.

I think any one who want's to go into politics has to have a little corruption in their hearts. I think is part of the job descriptions or something :)
