Writing Articles |
|
Hi, I'm just learning about pay to write sites, and I would really appreciate your experiences and feedback. Obviously, I'm not expecting to get rich quickly, rather I'm looking for a way to supplement my current income. I've looked into bukisa, associated content, and ehow. Has anyone had any experiences with these guys? Any suggestions or recommendations for a "newbie"? Thanks for reading this & have a great day!

1. celticeagle (4488) | 2 months ago | I write for all three. Bukisa is one you want to jam pack with your articles since it pays for clicks only. AC is the one I publish my longer and most well written articles and after the third one they pay immediately for the upfront ones if you chose that way of payment. Ehow has been changing over the last few months. It is easy to write for but be sure your introductory paragraph is done well and worded just write. People google for information and if you get the 'key words' just right you will get more clicks. Also, what I feel is the cornerstone on these is to advertise. If you PM me I can give you a list of the sites I keep up on and put my most recent articles info on for more clicks. Mostly your most popular ones like Facebook, Twitter and Myspace are good. Hope these tid bits help. Get busy and write! I am Celticeagle as well on them if you want to send a friends request I may be of more help to you. Good luck!

o0Tora0o (261) | 2 months ago | celticeagle, have you ever tried using the Google AdWords keyword tool? I've tried it with a few of the articles I've written for Helium, and it seems like those articles have better residual earnings than the ones I didn't do that for. All I do is put in a general keyword or two, then see which related keywords have the highest advertiser competition and try to work those keywords into my articles.

celticeagle (4488) | 2 months ago | Oh, thanks. No, I haven't. I don't even understand the keyword thing that well. Sometimes I just luck into it.

2. getbrowser (1431) | 2 months ago | I just write for Bikisa and eHow.
So far, I have over 50 articles in my eHow library. I'd like to create a large enough collection that I can keep earning substantial passive income from eHow even if I quit writing altogether. At Bukisa, however, if you write anything, it’s worth a specific amount. This means if you want to focus on topics such as music or movie reviews, you’re much safer on Bukisa.
I really enjoy freelance writing. As a newbie, you can just learn to write and don't pay more attention to the earning.

3. opalina143 (631) | 2 months ago | Bukisa only pays you for hits. So I don't even waste my time there. I write for Helium - their system is a little screwy but they pay upfront as well as a very competitive rate for clicks. Also, I write for reviewstream, which is pretty easy and brings in fifty dollars every two weeks or so if you work at it. (and more if you REALLY work at it)

|
| recycledaloha (9) | 2 months ago | Thanks for the info - I had never heard of reviewstream. How many reviews do you do to earn $50? I couldn't find it on their FAQ's.
| |
|
|
opalina143 (631) | 2 months ago | It depends. Reviews either pay 2.00 or the bulk rate, which is 40 cents. Some categories pay only the bulk rate (like movies) others pay the two dollar rate only if your review is long enough. You need to experiment a little to see how the whole thing works, as there are no actual written rules.

5. TrvlArrngr (1098) | 2 months ago | Ehow goes in every few weeks and deletes your articles if they find anything wrong with them like spelling, grammar, spam, if they are too easy, if they do not make sense, if they contain personal information, etc.
