Ok, since we can't have any discussions I'll just whine and complain about my dogs. Some of you are familiar with Dyna who beat the parvo virus a couple of months ago. She is a large dog and she was spayed this past Wednesday. She's still not feeling very well and has been carrying around one of her squeeky toys everywhere with her, which is a comforting thing, so I know she's unhappy. Some of you are also familiar with my little dog, Sugar, who has seizures from time to time. As things normally work out, Sugar had a seizure this morning so she's on medication, is acting weird and both dogs are very needy right now. I can't split myself in two and that is the problem. Dyna wants attention and so does Sugar. The real problem is that Dyna expresses her displeasure by attacking Sugar who is much smaller than Dyna. So far today I have broken up three fights. I've had to keep them apart off and on all day. Earlier today I banished Dyna to the bedroom while my husband was taking a nap, later on I had to banish her to the deck while I went to my youngest granddaughter's first birthday party since my husband was in the garage working on one of the Harleys. Meanwhile I've also been reinforcing Dyna's training...not that it works very well while she's trying to eat Sugar. Now it's late in the evening and Sugar is hiding from Dyna on our bed while Dyna is laying next to me on the couch with her squeeky toy *hidden* behind my back. No one will ever find it there!! Last night Dyna would not sleep in her bed but insisted on sleeping on our bed with us. You can imagine how well that worked out. Sugar will be back to her old self tomorrow...I hope...but I can't trust Dyna now. I have to watch her like a hawk and I don't like that. Normally these two get along very well. I hope Dyna feels better soon because this is not fun! So, how was your Saturday? You can't answer me...lol!

I can answer you now! Dyna sounds like she has overcome her terrible illness and she was misbehaving after her latest ordeal! Poor little Sugar! It must have been quite stressful trying to keep them apart all the time. You posted this three days ago so I hope that things are a little calmer on the home front and everybody is getting along a lot better! I spent most of my Saturday at my mum's place along with my sister. We had a yummy lunch and our girls played together all afternoon. I returned to MyLot when I got home and it still wasn't fixed so I responded to a few oldies, watched TV and went to bed.
