How's your math?

I am not very good at math subjects because I don't have the patience to think of how to determine those x's and y's which is not really applicable to daily life. I would rather be good in those basic plus, minus, multiplication, and some useful information rather than engage my mind to the complex mathematical problem and when I go out in life, I can't really apply it. I admire people who are good in math. I am poor in this subject.

when i was in school, i can say that i am just average when it comes to math! i get good grades in this subject but not as good as my classmates...
but among all the subjects in school, this is one thing that i don't really like coz i don't like solving those math problems! and i don't even like fractions! hehe
just knowing the basic of mathematics is enough & good for me, since that is the only thing that i use in my daily life...

i think students of today, or teachers of today, just use try to simplify the method of teaching mathematics to their students...specially now that we are already modernized...unlike before that everything is manual...

I know what you mean. I also know that 1 + 1= 2. My teachers were very much the same. I miss the yesteryear teachers. They knew how to teach well.

i have completed all of my engineering mathematics papers...and coming to solving the aptitude questions, i have lost my school speed of mental abilities to solve the cunning mathematical and tricky problems,
i have to pick back my old school maths book to recover my mathematics speed...
so i could compete with any of my mates with my original speed in aptitude questions and analytical geometry...

and many of my maths lectures have struggled in the middle of class for not getting the answers, i have solved those questions of my own...

people struggle, i go on a high with integration and differentiation..
i struggle a little on Probability and Random Process....
im very cunning in Numerical methods...
