Do you think Paramore's vocalist sounds alike Avril Lavigne?  |

 I'm not much of a fan of Avril Lavigne but when my boyfriend started listening to Paramore when we first heard it on the airwaves, I told him that she just sounded like Avril Lavigne. My boyfriend was contesting that she does not. HAha! But I just looked at her hair and how she dresses up, kinda like Avril in the early days. What do you think? Hey I like Paramore now, of course big difference is that it is a band and Avril is just Avril. Though I also like some of Avril's songs and her bad side image and outfits. How about you? Which of the two do you like or you think that they are the same in some ways?

I love Avril's first album, but think that her more recent stuff is more pop music than anything. Paramore still has somewhat of an edge that Avril used to have. I think Paramore's lead singer sounds more like the girl in Flyleaf actually. What do you think? | |

Everyone has differences, I may call it funny or interesting instead.=) I only had a few dates and had 4 boyfriends so far. They were all dateable and enjoyed each one of them dates.=) Haha! But the funniest or you can say worst date I can share is when I met up with someone I met online. Haha! We were chatting for like 2 weeks and then we decided to meet up at Starbucks. it was my first time so I brought my friend with me. We met up and talked for a while. Considering the music they play, there's a heavier touch to the riffs of Paramore compared to Avril's alternative and poppish sound. I'm not a real fan of any of them but I do dig them, they're both pretty. Heh heh. But I do think there's a bit of similarity with their fashion sense.

I like it better when they were more Emo having those heavier riffs while they were starting out. And I haven't been listening to new songs lately so I'm rather stuck under a rock.=) You could find songs for download using those peer-to-peer software like Limewire, Bearshare and the like. I usually go for torrent where I could download full albums and some hard-to-find ones. You should try it sometime.=D | |

Well anyway, after hearing their music, they don't have the same voices. I can distinguish if it's Avril or Paramore. I think both of them are OK.

When I first heard paramore singing Twilight's movie theme (the first installment) I thought it was Avril Lavigne. But if you hear the song closely you will find the difference. Their lead vocalist have a more higher voice range and I think it is more powerful than Avril. She is more edgier I think. And I like their songs as well.
