Would you end my life if I couldn't be saved?

Once you reached that stage, you are practically dead already. You are just about to give up the ghost and I can not imagine myself bashing your head with a stone LOL. I don't believe in mercy killing or euthanasia either especially in a case like this one. Well, let's just cross the bridge when we get there. I can not predict exactly how will I react. Who knows maybe in my shock I might pull out the remaining intestines inside and throw it on the air or strangle you with my bare hands as I bang your head against the concrete floor. hahaha

well, it is not my jurisdiction to put an end to a human being citing your own examples..eventually you would die soon and even your friends would not even bother to cut your life to end quickly with the way you describe the results you would not last. So I do not like to have a blood on my hands and maybe I just turn my back or cover my ears until I wait you died. So I do need to rush to talk to you or i prefer to call the people who are more expert to do it for those who administered euthanasia....

hi LiveLove no I would not as almost even the worst accidents now days can be saved and I would push your intestines back in, cover your abdomen with a clean damp cloth, call 911 and get you to Emergency Room quick, quick. I wou ld never give up hope, as I worked in the medical profession for years,and miracles are done all the time.Also if I had seen the cat,I would have got it to a veterninarian at once.

I think no one has the right to end one's life. As I read your statements, I think it's about helping someone not to prolong agony. This is about the right of a living thing to die decently or die with dignity (disrupting the physical self of the dying is not providing dignity as in the case of the cat, the idea is to treat the person as whole and maintain physical totality). However, the manner of achieving such death should follow certain norms and I guess, the things that you have mentioned may not be acceptable to everyone. If someone dying request you to end his or her life? Would you? Would I in any circumstances? I think the person who is in the position of right mind should be able to determine which is just and what are the possible options. What are the things that law allows? In that freak accident, I think, someone should be brought to the doctors who are experts in determining if one has the chance to survive or not. Medicine has advanced these days so that we won't be bothered of being in the position to decide to end someone's life out of sympathy by shooting or in any means. If someone has to die in the hospital, given that situation you've mentioned, I would be at peace in my conscience that you will die with dignity... the doctors know how to execute actions for you to be relieved of pain until death. I have read a book too... if one is dying (he or she is given strong alcoholic drink) and the carer stays with the dying until the last breath (since a person has the right not to die alone).
I have been in situations where I was with dying people, I could not put words to my feelings at that time. Silence was deafening and the surge of mixed emotions could be felt. I think a person witnessing this would have different reactions depending on experiences. It is also life-changing and I always reflect on these circumstances.

I would rather let you die due to your accident than bash your head with a stone. That to me is double murder LOL. I won't give you reason to haunt me because of bashing your head when you'll die anyway. Cheers!

my my, my friend, you can sure think of some pretty macabre things as i was reading over some past discussions of yours. a little to much Anne Rice reading/movies? anyway, i would call 911 and leave it up to them. even if it was an animal, i couldnt do it myself. i would also pray to Jesus to stop the pain in some way. leaving it up to him.
