I have been bullied because I thought I was weak. I would always get upset about what they would say or do to me. It was until one day I saw an older student picking on a younger student from a low year. I waited until I had the right time. I ended up saying to the bully for her to leave school because she was going to get caught bullying the younger students. I had said a few more words after that. Within couple of weeks, she left school. I am not sure if it had something to do with what I had said but I felt stronger. I had also noticed that after that the other bullies left me alone.
Today it is my oldest that gets bullied. If I see, I always yell out, "what are you doing picking on this kid. It just makes you look weak because you always pick on a weak kid to make you feel better." Kids these days don't really care. they just laugh at me. I am not worried that they laugh at me when I stand up for my kid, but I look at them and see them as weak idiots. Then I laugh at them.

I guess it would depend on the situation as to if I would step in or not. I don't like bullies anyway so it probably wouldn't take much to draw my two sense out. I am not worried about saying what I think to a bully either. Sometimes they need to hear it.

Hi Syankee525,
I do stand up to bullies there is no excuse for deliberate cruelty. I supose the people who say nothing are scared of the bully which, actually gives the bully exactly what he or she wants that is to intimidate another person. I can't bare to see someone being pushed around by another it really bothers me. I was raised to look out for people that can't help themself and to protect them from others that would do harm.
