I have to maybe take back what I said earlier about balloon boy.

I was in my car and I heard the tape of the Larry King show. What thye kid said when they asked why didn't you come out. The kid said "remember you said we were doing this for the show." Last night I didn't hear the remember when tiy said part. Now what really gets me angry if he was really trying to get a reality show, he already has a tv show and is making more money than most of us. Yet, he wants more. Look at what Jon Gosselin is going through now.

Hi Marty I have been hearing about this all day on the radio and tv around here. The other cute part to this story is that when his other son told him that his brother was in the box of the balloon, the dad turned and called the TV station. Not 911 or emergency number but the TV station. That really sounds like something fishy to me. What do you think?

I didn't even hear about that. And he's still saying he's outraged. It's like me and my girlfriend have said, isn't it amazing what money does to some people?

Hi Marty I was reading on Yahoo news this morning and they said something about there might be some charges brought up against them. I actually got to see where the boy did say that it was a show. I'm glad you all, money does crazy stuff to people. Lets watch and see what happens with them now. Have a nice day..

I think the father would do well to just stop giving interviews, already! That is the most suspicious thing that he's been doing--snorfling up one heck of a lot of media attention to talk about how much he didn't intend to create a media blitz. If he wants to prove that, why doesn't he just go home? He rather defiantly stated on Larry King's show "We weren't even going to *do* this interview!" But he didn't say what changed his mind, and the next morning he got himself and his family booked on every morning show on television--literally, they did CNN plus all three network shows, and I don't know if they did Fox or MSNBC but I wouldn't be surprised. The best thing for him to do would be to just shut up, and the longer he refuses to do that, the more reputation points it's going to cost him.
