According to the Commandments we are suppose to honor our mother and father...
We are suppose to put no gods before Him...
We shall not steal or commit adultry.
Everyday people break all of these and more.

I sate for an example, in the book of Leviticus, we can read about the separation of clean foods to unclean foods. But why this time, we are free to indulge or eat food at any of our interest(for meat)! | |

| 1boerseun (91) | 2 months ago | There is still a seperation between clean and unclean foods. It was not done away with. The favourite verse to use is the vision of Peter, but it was not about food per se, because Peter wandered what the vision was about. Why? duh Wasn't it obvious?? No, it wasn't, because eating unclean was totally and absolutely out of the question. The vision was given to him, because he also was not to mix with gentiles and a very strong message was needed to break that barrier. Read the whole chapter of Acts 10 to see what I mean.
Would the people who eat anything now also enjoy hyena steak with maggot sauce, dog tongue and fly crisps and cow snot for pudding? Eating pork is just as bad. More than that, pork is among the top ten dietary killers in the long run, if you consider all the consequences of eating it. It just takes longer to kill, so all sorts of other thing are blamed instead. | |

2.  Trensue (1253) | 2 months ago |  If I had to narrow it down I would say that all people are very judgemental. I think that falls under love thy neighbor kind of thing - sometimes I think we have forgotten even how to love ourselves and I am not sure it is specific to Christians. I think it is a fairly universal issue. I am guilty.

Most especially the commandment of God which is in the 7th commandment. It is the Keeping of Sabbath Holy! Do we rally keep this day Holy this time? We all steal in some ways we would never thouht of as stealing, like your boss's time or pen or what ever. We kill with our tongue almost every day. We commit adultery with our eyes almost every chance we get. We are guilty of idolatry every single day and probably lying too. Lack of faith is probably the most ocurring one -worrying about all sorts of things. That is a slap in the face of an omnipotent Creator. | |
