How many of you have traveled by bus?

i prefer to travel in bus
because car seat easy to traffic congestion

well i find this discussion funny because in your discussion title you ask how many have traveled by bus. since bus is a very common means of transportation i dont think there are many who who have never travelled by bus. LOL. well regarding bus as a means of transport i think its safer than many other means. also expenses can be reduced drastically if one travells for greater instances on buses becauses buses can transport more as compard to car

Many of the peoples used to travel by bus to the office for the
jobs and also most of the Asian countries the bus is one of the main
means of transportation for the peoples to arrive and reach the office.
The bus is one of the very cheapest transportation with less facility and
also we can not expect the fast or speed from the bus, so most of the peoples
would use the bus for the office purpose due to less price, and also
they are not in capable to pay more for the transportation. Thus one of the
reason most of the Asian peoples still using the bus as a their main transport
to use for all the purpose.

We don't have buses running here. The only buses we have transport children to school. So, no I don't travel by bus.

Yes, I have taken the bus. But I would perfer driving myself. I use to take the bus the first few years of college. I find more people are using the bus system which causes delays everywhere. One time I was waiting for the bus and they ended up rejecting me because it was too full - ended up waiting another hour out in - 20 C for another bus. I find a lot of people are extremely rude on the bus. This older lady got on the bus (with a walker) and noone would offer their seats up. Your telling me all those business men & women could get up and stand for 10 minutes for their elders. It takes me about 10 minutes to drive myself to school in the morning and would take 3 hours on the bus (a whole 10 minute drive away). I think its a waste of time even when I live in the city for school its not worth all the time wasting sitting their. Also, bus transit is show to cause more accidents. I counted once for 3 months we had 9 accidents (all different driveers). I think they should just rid of the bus system in he long run it would save the cities thousands of money.

I find going around by bus a great way to travel. The buses that I use to travel are on time mostly and I get to wherever I need to go. The only thing I find challenging about riding the bus are the crowds of people who also ride. Sometimes when they board the bus, they stand right in the front of the bus while the rear is barely empty of people and there are seats available. Move people!!! so that others could come on or move further in!!!

In the past I often travelled by bus, because my ex and I didn't have a car. My husband and I have a car, and we prefer to go by car instead of using the local buses. Some years ago the politicians changed the bus system in my country, and that created a lot of problems, because there are few busses now compared to
earlier. We live in the countryside and if we had to use the local buses we would have to spend a lot of time on transportation. Of course it is possible to live here without a car, but it would make things really complicated!

In July this year we went on holiday in Latvia and Lithuania, and we travelled by train and by bus. We spent 30 hours on the bus, and it was pretty hard. If we have to travel such a long distance again I prefer to go by train or by plane.

I used to ride a bus, when I didn't have my own transport and there's no other choice but that. It wasn't all a happy experience as bus ride can be scary at a time (you know how scary riding a big object moving more than 100 km per hour on a busy street) Since I have my own car now, I no longer took a bus ride, even for a long distance journey.

a bus is safe to ride, depends on the bus driver,
you have to make sure that he's not drunk or else...

I'm now living near my office, so I walk to work. But I like to go by public transport for daily uses, it's out of traffic jam and it's good for environment as well as national economy. However, I prefer metro or tramway whose the ticket is the same with bus ticket.
