RyanWang (6) | 3 months ago | it is sad and im sorry. i have 2 dogs and one of them is not far from death,i do not know what am i gonna do when he dies.i think i always thought that he is going to live forever,it's pretty stupid right? now he is almost there.... back to the discussion,i do not think that a pet cemetery makes sense for them, especially the pets in some places without this stuff.all we need to do is take good care of them when they are alive compare with human beings,if a person is going to die,he does not care about how his cemetery looks like.so, why pets care?

2. Ingkingderders (1069) | 3 months ago | I don't think there are any pet cemeteries here in our area.. We just usually bury our dead pets in the garden, or in the vacant lot at the back of our house. If it's just like a bird, a guinea pig, rabbit or a hamster ( we had a lot of pets when I was growing up) we usually bury it in the garden. But when it was our dog who died, we or my dad buried it ( I couldn't bear to look ) at the back lot, because it needs a bigger space and a deeper grave...
I do wish sometimes that we have a pet cemetery, so we could put the names of our animals who have passed away...

3. rdadey (331) | 3 months ago | I've always buried my pets close to wherever I'd be living. I've never had one die in a place that had a cemetery for pets. I pick a place where I know it won't be disturbed for at least a few years. As for feeling sad, I do...it's hard not to when you have a pet that can acknowledge your presence and you have a real connection with it.

6. corrycrystal (1108) | 3 months ago | Hi, Amy!
Honestly, I have not heard of any pet cemetery before. When our pets died, we would just bury them at the backyard.
When I was younger, we have lots of cats and dogs. One day, one by one died because of some diseases and as we have become attached with them, we cried almost every day when each of them gone. I loved all the cats, but before we had them, we had two cats, my eldest brother found them at the fuel station when they were still small. They were covered with oil and we took care of them until they became so big and pretty.
The one I was closed with used to snuggle my feet when I was sleeping. When he was really sick, he went to lie under my bed and died there. Everyone was so sad... Oh, it makes my eyes wet just to reminisce this. It happened more than 20 years ago...
In the first few weeks, I believe I could always feel that he was sleeping next to my feet. We buried him at the back yard. I did mark it with stones, but as time goes by I couldn't seem to remember where he was buried...
