Do you have a limits in makes jokes? A discussion is intersting, can catch somebody, can be relaxing, funny, but..what limits do you have in discussions like this, where use "hard"words or expressions?
Just because someone makes a joke, you don t have to take it as face value!
As adults, can we not easily discern intent, and respond accordingly.
There is only one time you can strike a woman if she kicks you in the balls, you have the ability and the right, to punch her in the teat ( it's just like that ) it's kinda like tit for tat.
So what are your limits in a "funny" discussion? you will answer if somebody use a wrong word?
How you deal if you feel that ..."IS TO MUCH?" HOW YOU WILL REACT, IF YOU FEEL THAT SOMEBODY CROSS RED LINE?

Hi icesmile, I believe in freedom of speech so anyone should be able to make any joke they wish and we are quite free to ignore it with disdain or simply respond that it is not funny. So if someone wrote an offensive joke on mylot then I would simply ignore it. The only thing I can't ignore is when facts are presented inaccurately as the truth.

My limits are that I will not tolerate jokes that are racist, sexist, or prejudice of any kind. I will also not tolerate someone taking The Lord's name in vain. I am not overly religious myself, but I like to respect those who are. And when I say "The Lord" I could be refering to Jesus, God, Allah, Buddah, whoever one believes in. No one should take the name of a religious diety in vain.
