Do eyeballs grow bigger as we grow older? or are they like that since birth?

Appreciating to ask many more medical related questions and also
I am appreciating your performance in the medical field. With regards to
eye balls it is very important and more sensitive part in the eyes and
also it has many more importance because it is situated in the eye. As you
have knew that most of the peoples in this world would give the importqnce
to the eyes in order to have the right sight. The eye balls are having the
growth till the age of 12 to 15 years and after that it would stop the
growth and some times it would change the diameter or size of the eye balls
due to some kind operation in the eyes due to accident, or hormones
imbalance would also effects the size of the eyeballs. So the growth can
be stopped in the early stage, and would possible to have the alternation
in the past stage due to many more unwanted situation.

i have read from the web before about facts and one written is that our eyeballs don't change from birth to grown up. it didn't write any explanation about it but that's what is written...

why don't you look it up on the internet

I have some solid information about this topic. So glad to know you asked! This is from a doctor when I had gone for a regular eye check up. I wanted to check my eyesight to see if its alright. I had no past experiences of having a power or an eyesight problem..jus a regular checkup..i was 21 at that time and out of curiosity when I asked him how often I had to come to him for such checkups, he smilingly told me that once i grow up and reach my twenties like 21 and above, my eyeballs too have grown to their maximum size. If I had developed a short sight or long sight problem while I was still a kid(in my teens) then the power would have increased as the eyeball grows and increases ..hence you find people going in for thicker spectacles or contact lenses with higher power ratings as they grow up.. But once you reach your twenties your eyeball stops growing any further and hence if you havent had any eyesight problems, your unlikely to develop a problem after that age..
Ofcourse once you're 40 or older, your eyeballs would begin to deteriorate due to old age and you might need to get it checked.
