Do you ever lose track of the time when you are on Mylot?

When I first started I did. Lately, I just come on periodically and find a few discussions to respond to before heading off again. I understand how easy it is to lose time, though. I know that unless I have something that I need to do, or somewhere that I need to be, I will be online all day on forum and gaming sites.

everytime i'm on here,i missed the first half hour of my program the other day coz i got carried away on here

All the time. In fact, if I know I have to be somewhere, I won't even touch my computer and if I do, I have to remind myself "now remember, you're only checking your e-mail." or "I'm only going to listen to one song. OK, maybe two." Especially with my recent discovery of hubpages and nutsie and being unemployed doesn't help either, I can be on for hours. Oh yeah, that's another thing, which I'm pretty good at, only looking for jobs.

The only time I lose track of time sitting in front of the computer is when it's early in the morning and I'm on my way out the door to work. I don't know if it's just when I am on here casually I don't pay attention to how long it takes me to do different things, or it's just that I try to squeeze too much into the few extra minutes that I have in the morning before I have to go. But, the worst thing I can do is try and log on to the computer before I go to work. That almost guarantees that I will be late and is why I avoid it unless absolutely necessary.

Yes I do! I find it hard to sleep early at night because mylot's keeping me busy. I always say that I'll go to bed before 12am but I usually sleep by 2am and sometimes even 4am

I always do that myself. It is so easy to lose your self here at mylot and forget about the time. It also keeps me up later than i need to be up at night, and i miss getting a good nights sleep.

Not on myLot, but I do sometimes. I think we all do at one time or another. But since there's a clock on my screen, I always know what time it is when I'm here.

Yes there have been incidents when I have been so involved in the site responding to interesting discussions that I lost track of time and then suddenly I saw the time on the PC clock and realized that I was late for something which I was suppose to do and so I then quickly went to do that work.

Hee hee - admittedly yes - even though I have a clock on my desktop on the computer! Where does the time go? Usually my little one will want me, but lately she's been pretty independent and can focus on an activity all by herself longer . . . so my "alarm" has been missing - ha ha. But luckily my stomach will tell me it's time to eat - so at least I won't be missing any meals - ha ha!

I am horrible at this. I too will know that I have somewhere to go and always rushing around to get ready. I will even get up earlier so that I have time to get on mylot before I leave. Just like right now, I have dishes waiting on me to be washed, but I thought I sit down here on mylot for a few minutes before I do the dishes. It has been an hour now since that first took place. Okay I guess I better get up and go wash them dishes. Keep smiling jugs.
