Why men should buy flowers?  

becoz men knows that the weakness for women is flowers....and women love flowers..!!!

I'm a man at first, and I and my girlfriend have gone together for 3 years. I gave sent a lot of gifts to her such as couple costume, shoes, knockoff rings, ingenious accessories, camera and so on. Sounds like no flowers in them, yes, you're right, I haven't sent her a bunch of flowers. I do think flowers aren't practical, just a transient feast for vision, then they start to decay and nothing left at the end. So men just want to show their affection for their girls, why not choose something practical? But I consider I will send her flowers next time, for she told me that she kinda envy the girls who received flowers from their boyfriends. You see, girls like to rival with each other, and I also don't want to have a breach of flower in my romance chain.

I really have no interest in getting cut flowers on any occasion. If you are going to get me something give me a plant. I like to be able to grow and continue the life cycle of something far more than cutting it off to put in a vase. I can't even remember the last time I received flowers. My husband knows better than to send them to me. There are many other ways to show me the love on a whim them send me flowers. I like chocolate, plants and love poems. Poems are most likely my favorite because they are from the heart and created by my man. When he writes for me I know his emotion is there and that is why he felt compelled to write to me in the first place. That, to me, is love!

Funny but I would rather give cards and jewelries than give flowers. It's not that I'm not a romantic person, I just don't like giving flowers.

i'd rather not receive flowers in public but i'd love to in private hehe! my husband has never given me flowers when we were just dating and i've always told him i wish he would, LOL! the only time he gave me flowers was when he wasn't able to come home early and it's the first month of marriage! i was alone at our home while he was with his friends enjoying a party. he gave me a dozen red roses as a peace offering hehe! until now, i always tease him to give me flowers but still he won't. but that makes the only time really memorable, LOL!

I received flowers at work once for Valentine's Day. It was a surprise. I have to admit it was a bit embarrassing because it drew a lot of attention. I am shy and quiet so I don't like to be the center of attention. My husband had sent me roses. I thought it was really sweet. He had never done anything like this before. He usually is predictable and has never surprised me before.

Sometimes he buys me flowers to show me appreciation. He will get a bouquet with different flowers sometimes. I like variety for flowers. And color.

I never buy flower for my wife even in courtship until now. I don't even remember buying her chocolates before as a show of my affection to her. It is because, the first thing see said to me is that instead of flowers or chocolates, buy me gifts that has an everlasting and she can keep till the end of days. I used to buy her necklaces, bracelet, earings, etc. It didn't matter whats the price as long as it comes from me. Now, she had a special box especially made for all the gifts I had given to her. It it would be flowers, its now long gone. Hope women would do the same. Flowers are beautiful but also are expensive. The joy it brings to you is for only several days, not unlike those gifts I have given. And the best part of it is that they are all under $5.00 each item.

i am a shy girl too,but if my BF send me flowers in public,i would so happy,you know sometimes that needs courage,not every boy would like to do that.i like lilies,because it's a symbol of pure love.if i am a man,i would send flowers to my gf for having a great memory.
