have you seen you grand parents? maternal or paternal?how many are alive now?

I have seen my maternal grand parents,both my maternal grand father and maternal grand mother but i have not seen my father's father or mother. I am very sad that I was born late enough even when I am the eldest of all.
among the four, only my nani(mama's mother) is alive. so, I want to give her all my love and attention and serve her the most as she is the only one from the old generation.

i saw only my mummy's mummy...and no one else...and it was very unfortunate for me..that i lost my mom when i was just 1 and a half year old...and i don't remember seeing her..i mean i don't have her face in my memory..just a photograph is what i remember....u r lucky to see atleast 2 of the 4 ...

yes i have seen my grandparents, and three of them are still alive. both paternal grandparents are still alive but we are not that close to them. they have their favorite grand children so they dont like us that much. i am their first grandchild but they dont like me or my other siblings. thats the reason that sometimes i dont attend on gatherings for they always voice out how good their favorite grandchildren are and forgetting that we are their grandchildren too. my maternal grandmother is a good one and very loving. we are all close to her. i even go out with her for lunch or dinner 5 times a year or more. she likes going out and a bubbly grand mom as well. she loves my son too equally as he loves other grandchildrens sons and daughters

I had my grandparents alive for a great portion of my life. I am 51 and just lost three of the four within the past five years. They were all good people and I miss having them around, but time marches on and there is really nothing you can do about it. I hope to see them on the other side someday.
