Which is better: completing articles in the assignments section or...

For the most part I agree with you completely. I have submitted some to the assignments lately...mostly to try to get my page views up as they are only a little over 2100 per day so far. They have come up some though. I am getting ready to start submitting for upfront payment again though. I have hopes that between twitter and facebook I can raise my pageviews anyway. Thanks:)

Hmm.. Interesting. Maybe I'll try some of the assignments just to see how I do. By the way, what is "upfront payment" in Associated Content? Do they pay you money once an article is approved and then you get paid for page views?

Hi Chrisanimelo, Associated Content only pays upfront to US residents. Since you are from US, you are eligible for upfront payment, on top of page views impressions.
However, it's hard to get a high upfront payment, you are lucky if you can get $4 per article.
If you aim for higher upfront, aim for average page views of 400 per article, and select those high earning keywords. You can use Google Adwords Keywords Tool to find out how much the advertisers are paying for certain keywords. You can't go wrong if you can write about tax attorney or wrongful death attorney.

Thanks for the info. I will keep that in mind. I have been writing for some of the assignments in order to try to get my page views up. Between that, using twitter, and using facebook it seems to have helped some.

Mine automatically go to facebook, twitter, and wordpress, as I don't have time to do it myself.
