Well, yes - it happens. But I don't take it too personally (or at least try not to). Sometimes the discussion may not be of high interest, but it could also be that it did not get proper exposure (like your discussion getting lost in the many discussions that are being asked). On the flipside, I do get surprised when I get many responses for discussions that I didn't think much about!

How many would be sufficient ? I would expect more than 10 replies. I posted 2 discussions and get two responses and six responses respectively.

Hi,zausiu,do you feel that 2 or 6 are sufficient responses for your discussion...i feel that they are not at all a responses..some times it is doubt that how worst the discussion you have started...don't you realise...

oh yes i have this expirence already and i agree with you that every member one time or another had this same expirence, this is just depending on how many people have the same expirece as what you have put on your discussion or have an idea on how to give an advice to the topic, there are actually time that your discussion could be covered up by too many other disscusion that it won't get notice. this are some of the few things i notice why a discussion sometimes don't get responses.

hello baluyadav, well, that's one of the reasons why i rarely make discussions, becuase if it's similar to others then there's no way that they will take notice of my discussion. ack in my old account i relentlessly make new discussions, and only a few get's responded. but now, am more careful with making one. there was one discussion that was made and it was deleted because it was violation of the rules. just make sure you research if the topic has been made before, if not then that's the time you make one.

What is you benchmark for sufficient responses?.If you read top discussion the topic is general and sometime the question is too common. So you must start discussion as many as you want.
