A few years ago when I signed up for my cell phone, It was with Aliant Mobility. That company merged with Bell Mobility and now phone is with Bell. I had absolutely no problems with the first company and within days of it being switched over, I have had nothing but problems. The customer service support is now in a city thousands of miles of way and most of the reps don't even know where Newfoundland is, most of the reps can't speak English so I cant understand what they are saying, I am being charged for things I never used and so much more! Has anyone else had problems with this company?? It is getting so bad that I am considering switching companies when my contract is up!

Do you have a consumer watchdog agency there? They should know about that! Try calling Bell's corporate offices and tell them this, it's worth a shot. Maybe you can get out of your contract. Read the fine print, you might find a loophole--doubtful, but it's worth a shot.

If you get Net10 up there, look into that. I've used them for nearly 3 years and they're great. No contract, just buy phone minute cards as you need them but a minimum of 150 a month for $15. That's the only cost. No contracts. The minutes you don't use roll over to the next month-but you still have to buy the minimum. It's a cheap phone service and I've never had a dropped call, the quality is always great.

Either go to BBB or consumer protection agency. there is always one in every province, usually in big city or closest region. google them and you will find where and how to file complaint. not saying that the company can't be stubborn, but it's worth the try.
