which is the greatest character in harry potter series?

I think Hagrid is the best character. I feel you learn a lot from Hagrid's relationships and kind heart. He has so many good learning experiences throughout the series that I feel kids and adults can learn from as well. I love that he is so large and gruff looking but that he is a big teddy bear. His relationship with Dumbledore teaches children that just because they do not fit into a certian mold does not mean they do not have a place in the current world. Hagrid has such loyalty to Hogworts that he would go to any extreme to help save it. Also, the way he feels about Harry is beautiful...

For me, Hermione Granger may be the greatest character in Harry Potter series.

As one of the best friends of Harry, she is slightly different student, who is a “Muggle born” but has great interest in studying magic. In fact, She is one of the brightest students of her school and it seems that everything related to her textbooks is saved in her mind.

She is such a beautiful girl with wisdom.

Accoridng to me Dumbled dore and valdamore are best character. Harry always rescue by dumbled dore's tip and magic and valdamoore always heavily introduced in movie. it is respect of the character .

I have to go with my choice - Harry Potter. In the middle of the book series, doubt was brought up, questioning if Harry Potter was rightfully 'the one', or was it just chance that picked him that night when his parents were killed. The reason was because Longbottom became the other possible candidate of being 'the one'.

As the story progressed into book 7, it was a clear sign that not only Harry Potter was the one, the young wizard was also the Master of Deathly Hallows, which is something that not even Dumbledore nor Voldermont could ever be. Dumbledore could only have the ring, while Voldermont never mastered the powerful wand.

It was Harry Potter, who was not only the chosen one, but as well as the established owner of the invisible cloak, ring and the powerful wand, making him the Master.

I thought JK Rowling did a brilliant job to end all by making Harry Potter a hero not by convenience or a hero by his mother's love, but he was a hero of his own merits.

I liked malfoy the most, I wished he was somewhere in the main character but still he looks cute in the negetive shades too. I wish his role increases in the future as I want to see him more than the usual in the movies or rather series of harry potter.

I like the Dementors! On how they are pure evil. And how they can suck any sign of happiness you have. This is because I know a few people like them. You could almost feel the cold gust, when they come into a room. They should just all go back to Azkhaban!
I also like the concept of having a happy thought as the only way to fight them.

i think in harry potter is hagrid and rawn. i love hagrid character because he is emotional, funny and loving person. rawn is a icon for best friends. other characters are also very good but those two character are best for me.

Still, Harry for me is the best character in both the book and film series. Without him in the first place, there would be no Harry Potter to be read or watched upon. We might as well call it "Hagrid's Magical Creatures" or "Hermione: Quest of a Muggleborn". The whole storyline, or in that case the whole Harry Potter industry, a billion dollar industry, should be rewritten. I think there are many characters that are great, I myself had more inclination for Hermione when it comes to whom is my favorite character. But to honestly tell my opinion as to who is the greatest, my answer would be Harry. I personally liked the way the character of Harry evolved as the story progressed. It gave his character much content and ever dynamical.
