What is the longest journey you travelled?

Such a long distance really. Hope the weather was good and you enjoyed the journey everywhere. I did not follow your second sentence, 'my wife...... I am sorry for not understanding.

My wife did most of the driving and she kept getting lost and not being able to find the house we were going to as things changed so much from 40ty years ago. She felt most of our miles were put on the car because of being lost. Our second day into the trip it rained all the way and we had to go under 65 so the windshield wipers would work. We did feel fortunate anyway as on that day it rained two accidents happened just after we had passed that area.

Got it. I am happy by God's grace you came back safe. Each journey is an experience I feel.

3000 miles by car is a long journey. The most I drove by car alone was 500-600 miles.
I am a salesman. So I drive most of the time.

lol, i had the same thing with you...sitting for 12hours makes me uncomfortable and my butt was so painful i just wanted to stand but too tired to do it

Even for me it was paining. Whenever the bus stopped for visit, I could not immediately get up and walk. After coming back I fell sick for one full month with severe hip pain, high fever and chest cold due to different water and different weather. Now I decided not to travel like that. May be I am too weak to bear the strain.

i have never been so complaining about long travels but just my butt and sometimes legs are also uncomfortable and it's unbearable. anyway, i just can't stand more if the road is rough and we are like being juggled and tossed lol

Yes it is a long journey. When I travelled from Varanasi to Chennai, it was two nights and one and a half days. First day we did not get sleeper and had to sit through the night. It was horrible journey for all of us.

when you go for a journey it is really relaxing however at that time i was the driver and i tell you i was so tired, during the last leg of travel I was so sleepy and i happened to hit a crowd of carabao crossing the road, gladly only the bumper was damage and my companions was so nervous instead. but everybody was okay, LOL.

Be careful friend, Especially the person who is driving should take good rest in between. All the lives are in your hand.

Just like occupational hazard it is journey hazard. Even for me legs were swollen when I had six days trip.

Very true Srikala, this relief from house work and office work is great. Not that we do not want to work but we need a change in between from this monotonous work.

Was that 20 hours journey day journey or night journey? If it is night journey, we can spend many hours sleeping or at least lie down and take rest. If it is day journey, then whole journey we have to be awake and sit and travel.
