Why is it so hard to make a living? I am worn out |
|
I have been trying to make money for along as I been on the internet. And that is very long time. Why does come so easy for some people? What do they get that I am not getting? I always hear that it takes money to make money. What do you do if you are not making any money at all. My goal was make money off the internet and turn around and reinvest it to make more money. But I keep losing more than what I am earning.
I want to be able to invest in something that I know will get me a return on my investments. I am at the point where I am willing to spend my life's earnings on something that will work and give me more money in return. But I have found nothing.
I am frustrated and tired. And I two children who are suffering along with me. What more can I do?

1. patofgold23 (1670) | 3 months ago | hi there st...
i am not fond of putting out money before even earning it... yet i have done it a few times...I have a site where i compiled all the sites I make money from and I have to say like you i have been making money fromt he internet for some time now..but only these sites have truly brought in the cash...
the link is in my profile page below my avatar...
But you also can make money from writing quick reviews (100 words) like you do in Ciao
there's a great money-making site I know, and it's free.. I have a payment proof in my site as well....
You get paid for writing short reviews about products/services/people...
they pay 50 credits (50 cents) for 100 words -- that's pretty easy..and you could easily do that in less than 3 minutes...
you also earn 10 credits (10 cents) for grading products/services/people...
and 1 credit (1 cent) for rating products/services/people...
when you have 2000 credits ($20)-- you can request payment via paypal and they pay really fast....
it only takes about 3 days to earn 2000 credits ($20)...
so an extra $20 every 3 days added income aint that bad if you have the time for it....
if you have more time..you can earn even more...
just be patient if your comment is pending...it doesnt take more than 24 hours for the credits to be added to your account...mine usually is approved iin 12 hours
it's the Green and White banner in my profile page (imreport) --below the Paypal banner..a truly legit site ..one of my faves!!!
might wanna give it a try...good luck!!!!

| dragonsouls (40) | 3 months ago | Thank you for the link I am going to try it out. I have hundreds of sites I have been working on and only a few that really pay. This sounds like a good place to make it worth my time. I have been writing for Associated Content and they don't pay very much. That is writing over 400 words so this sounds like gravy compared to that. I payed for a site Home biz opps and they totally screwed me. Black list that site it sucks. I got a few useful links but I could have found all of that on my own for nothing.

2. firemom31 (324) | 3 months ago | I feel your frustration. It has taken me several years to build my online earnings to the point where it equals that of a part time job. I don't believe it comes easy to anyone, if they say it is easy, they are not being truthful. Earning online is work, just as much, maybe more, than a regular job. I refuse to invest any money in something that is not already proven, and I mean proven by ME. The best way to start earnng is to read as much as you can about keywords, blogs, etc., until you see your earnings start to increase. Then read some more. What methods are you using to try to make money online?

3. rosekiss (4411) | 3 months ago | I have only been doing this for a short tiem and not making much at all. It sure isn't what you can consider a part time job either. I don't think I have been at it long enough for that. Before I found the few sites I am doint, I was on the computer, day in and day out trying to find something to make money from, but to no avail, until I found mylot. It is here that I found froum others legit sites where I can make a little bit anyway. I am glad for that, as something is sure better than nothing nowaadays. I am doing all free sites, and that is the best part as I won't lose any of my own money should they go under. So far from the sites I am doing, I haven't been wasting my time, as I have ben paid, and I am so happy about that. If I hadn't found mylot, I certainly wouldn't have found the sites I am doing. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

chrisanimelo444 (103) | 3 months ago | It takes time. I've been writing articles for the past 3 months, and so far I've made 70 bucks with eHow. The best thing is, the money keeps coming in over time (even if I don't write anymore articles). Now I get 20 bucks a month with eHow doing nothing basically.

4. bounce58 (1045) | 3 months ago | I always thought that the only thing different between me and the people who say are earning money from the internet is that I don't like to spend anything. Like renting referrals, upgrading membership, etc. I know that you don't make money if you don't spend money, but because there are a lot of scams online, I'd rather not spend anything! Yet, this too does not help me in earning a lot.

chrisanimelo444 (103) | 3 months ago | Well, I didn't spend anything either when I was writing articles. And I've earned 70 bucks in 3 months for doing so (for eHow anyway). I did spend 10 bucks on my upgrade for Clixsense though, and I'm glad I did. I've now made a few dollars more than I invested (and the upgrade is for a year!).
It all depends on you weaknesses and strengths, really. What are you good at? I recently wrote an eHow article about the topic that may help you. http://www.ehow.com/how_5560496_set-goals-make-money-internet.html
I hope I helped!

| 7. dragonsouls (40) | 3 months ago | I understand were you are coming from. I have been at this home business for a while and even invested some money into it but it just isn't working out. According to the government your business is going to be in the negative for at least 5 years. I know that's crazy and why I probably don't make that much. I am not willing to put more into it than I have made.
I guess the big thing is following up with your customers. They may not be ready to buy right off but if you give them time and get back to them they may be ready. They say you lose half you customers from not following up. They have software that takes care of that for you but it cost about $50. I am not willing to do that just to find out if it works.
I have been using all free services and no sales yet. However I have made some money from a few survey sites and writing articles for money. Let me know what you are doing and I will see if I can give you some useful links. Maybe we could help each other out.

chrisanimelo444 (103) | 3 months ago | Yes, writing articles can be very profitable! I'm also close to my 50 buck payout and 30 buck payout for two of the survey sites I use. The majority of my money comes from writing articles though. And since I love to write, it motivates me! My suggestion is to just do what you love.:)

8. trinale (645) | 3 months ago | Hi Stccherry. Many people come online to make money and seem to go off in two separate directions. There's the one group that wants to make money WITHOUT paying a single penny to get started. They typically go for the paid-to-click, paid-to-read, filling out surveys, article writing and similar programs.
The down-side to these type programs is that the "pay to..." programs only pay pennies and if you have no active referrals, it can take you months just to earn $5 or $10 dollars and in a lot of cases you may have to wait days or weeks just get an actual payment. All I can about surveys is you can only complete so many and end up on so many junk mailing lists before hitting your frustrated point and realize there's no real money to make there. As for article writing, for me personally, I get writers block just thinking about writing an article!
Now how about that other group of people? They want to make the "real money" and they understand that some time you have to spend money to make money. This is where the Internet levels the playing field. During their research on how to make money online,
These people go for the affiliate programs where you make a small investment, either one-time or on a monthly basis depending on the product or service being sold with the goal of recruiting others into the same program and earning commissions (either per sale or monthly) from those referrals.
The affiliate programs that pay recurring monthly commissions, known as residual income programs are the best because they will pay every month for as long as the individual you refer remains a customer. If you get a good product people can use, retaining customers will be no problem and you could actually earn enough to actually live on.
The drawback with affiliate programs is that if you don't make sales or get referrals, you don't get paid. So you're out there...because you don't know how to promote to get the customers and referrals you need! How long you keep trying with these type of programs depends mostly on your budget.
So what's the solution? You need a program that combines all the above into one system. Something that will allow you to make some money first with no out of pocket cost and then use that money to invest in affiliate programs to earn some real cash. And then, most importantly, you need to learn how to promote it! For that I recommend Escalating Biz. Check 'em out and keep your money in your purse!
I hope this little tid bit gets you started in the right direction.
Cheers, Stan
