I just love cats but I am so allergic to them. I have a new cat and she doesnt seem to bother my allergies that much. What can I do to avoid having an allergy attack while keeping cats in my home?

about 25 years ago I went to an allergist who gave me shots for my pet allergies - saying that he knew people wouldn't give up their pets, they might as well be treated for them - and surely you know HOW many cats I have!

I am allergic to pet dander but cannot let go of my cats. My colds never go away. One thing that I do is that I don't really pet them and they stay outdoors. But I get sneezing spells when I just can't help rub their bellies.

Well, there are these cats who don't have much or any hair. I don't know how they are called but a lot of people who are allergic to cats don't seem to get bothered by their allergies.
