Lots of famous entertainers have children who have followed in their footsteps whether it be acting or music. This started me thinking of the ones who have appeared in movies alongside each other. I can think of a couple, but I know there must be many more that I have forgotten.Maybe some of you can think of some. I'll start the ball rolling by mentioning Henry and Jane Fonda in the film On Golden Pond. There was also one featuring the Bridges, Beau and Jeff, with their father, Lloyd, but I cannot recall the name of it. So, how many can you recall?

Ozzie and Harriet Nelson and both sons, Ricky and David, followed in their showbiz talents. Also Judy Garland and her daughters. Lorna Luft wasn't quite as successful as Liza Minelli. One couple I use to love to watch on television was Ricky Ricardo and Lucille Ball from the ever famous, "I Love Lucy" program of many years ago. Their kids were also actors. Looks like Mylie Cyrus is more popular than her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. She has quite a large following.

The offspring of Ozzie and Harriet did follow in their parent's footsteps, carolbee, to some degree, although I think Ricky was more famous for his singing. The Desi Arnazes did indeed have a couple of talented kids. I don't know very much about Miley Cyrus, but I used to catch her dad's TV show occasionally.

the one with Lloyd Bridges and Jeff was just on. Dad was killed by a bomb. Sad. another is Bruce ? and his daughter. Can't think of their names. He always played a bad guy. there are so many but I can't recall names. There is a comedy couple who also did some character acting and did a movie with their son who did that museum kids movie recently. Adam?

You might be referring to Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara and their son Ben, celticeagle. I love them all. Do you mean Bruce Dern or Bruce Willis? They both have daughters who went into acting.

Well, I am so glad that someone among us still has her faculties. Obviously I am without mine. Yes, those are the ones. Thanks. Embarrasing when your mind losing whatever memory it had.

I had completely forgotten about Moonspinners, Ms Tickle! Movies have certainly changed a lot in recent times.

On Golden Pond was a great movie wasn't it--despite the fact I can't stand Jane Fonda...LOL. I can think of one movie that had a father/daughter team....don't forget Jon Voight and his famous daughter, Angelina Jolie in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider--love that movie :-) Oh and wasn't there a movie with Judy Garland and her daughter Liza as a baby??

I'm not sure about Judy Garland/Liza Minelli, pyewacket, but you are right about Jon Voight and Angeline. I wonder what that atmosphere was like!

Wow I can think of Charlie sheen and his farther I think Martin(not sure about his name)Kirk Douglas and son Michael Douglas and many more .Both Charlie and Michael have followed well in their fathers footsteps howeer many of the new emergent progeny might have tried their hand at shoe making or baking because they suck at it .Many of the new child progeny are only getting a break because of who their parents are

How about Ryan O'Neal and Tatum O'Neal in Paper Moon, also there was a movie with Beau and Jeff Bridges called the Fabulous Baker Brothers. I'm sure there are more but I can't think of them at this very moment.
