A new car

My driving instructor has got a new car. It is Fiat 500 car and the last one was a Corsa. I had a driving lesson in it yesterday. I think the movement is very swift and the car is powerful. I need to check my speed because even when it goes really fast the speed isn't felt all that much. I am going to take my practical driving test soon so I am an experienced driver compared to a person that is on the first ever driving lesson. I am fine with having the hand brake on to stop the car going backwards on a hill however I think that would possibly upset a beginner driver. Was it wise of my driving instructor to have bought a new car that is different to his last one? Do you think you would be alright with driving a brand new car?

Hi max, and good luck with your test. Driving instructors, probably have to change their cars much sooner then the average person due to all the different, and inexperienced drivers using the vehicle. If you are comfortable, it will help you pass your test. Mike.

All the best to you. I think you can definitely pass, either using the old car or new car. I think you have the skills to drive definitely and I'm sure your instructor thinks that you are a pretty good driver.

it is advisable for you to undergo the test for license in the old car itself. But as you have gained some experience it would not be a great problem to try it with the new car.No doubt a new person will get confused and will take some time to adjust.Anyhow,my best wishes for you to get your driving license.Cheers!
