halloween weird

I just had the strangest thing happen to me. It's 8:30PM and I was responding to a discussion. I have motion sensored lights on my porch and also have solar powered lights along the walkway to the house. It was dark and I'd been thinking of things to do for Hallween and my lights came on. There were two racoons outside eating my bird seed that got dumped today by the wind.No biggy right? The lights went out and I was typing in front of my living room window and I saw TWO BIG OLD EYES STARING AT ME THRU THIS WINDOW !!! Scared the crap outta me !! I sat back and took a better look, it was grey tom cat who'd gotten under the motion sensors LOL Happy Halloween to me LOL

It really was later, but at the moment it scared the living daylights out of me. I don't think I'll ever forget the glowing of those eyes---- Happy Halloween :)

You gave yourself a good creepy feeling. It is fun to watch the critters in the yard.We get raccoons, possums and foxes for sure, as well as cats, dogs, bunnies and squirrels.

I learned that spelling issue a long time ago, I believe this is software that picks up certain spellings and ignores the meanings. I have a friend who lives in c00n rapids Minnesota, who posts on here.

I made that same mistake here on mylot one time and I had to change my wording. I'm not a racist, either. I love everybody. I started to say that mylot needs to read how it's used in the sentence. I hope that makes sense. I didn't know it was the software, though. Kathy.

just wanted ya to know, I typed in the word c o o n and mylot wouldn't let me use it--- I am not a racist !! and never gave that word or it's spelling a second thought :(

Can you hear the theme song for the "Twilight Zone"? Do do do do.... lol This time of the year is here again, all of the spooky things are out once again! lol It would've scared me too quita. In fact, one scared me just like that one night while in this room, a cat got up into my window and their eyes glowing like they do, it scared the crap out of me too!! Now having 10 cats, I'm used to seeing them glowing eyes.

hi quita 88 I had something similar happen to me once and those big old eyes do really scare you, a cat has a way of staring right at you without moving an inch, its really eerie.And being grey he would look even scarier. wow. Halloween got to you early. he he

Hi again Hatley:) yep, that old cat really got me LOL But took my flash light out and he just stood at the gate and stared at me. Whatcha wanna bet I have a new friend? By the way, are you going trick or treating :) Halloween is for all ages, even me I'm thinking of getting all costumed up with make up and the whole works and going the night before to my grand kids house ---- they should get a kick out of grandma in a witches outfit, huh? later, and Happy Hallloweeenier

Happy Halloween to you, too! After I responded to your discussion last night, I got to thinking about a time years ago when my parents and I were going out to eat one night. I have a pretty long driveway and just before we got to the main road, we saw a big old black cat with the greeenest eyes! He/she was really scary looking! He/she had to be black because all we could see of the cat were the eyes. Kathy.

I was thinking about what to do or get for my grandkids for Halloween---but never thought about a sneaky cat staring in this window. We've only been here about 3 weeks and was getting to used to new surroundings and with my grandkids so heavy on my mind, costumes, etc were on my mind!! The cat, bless his little pointed head LOL, is still 'roung here but not looking in my window!! By the way, Happy Halloween:)
