Christmas fast approaching, have you started your shopping?

I have started shopping. I've also started shopping for a Christmas tree that we can place in our home as we don't have one. We just moved in together so I'm looking for something nice we can put up. I definitely miss having a tree up and being all festive for the season.

I'm really not sure about decorations or anything yet. I'm just glad that I'll have the chance to decorate and put up things this year.

I haven't started my shopping yet, but I have some ideas. Not enough ideas though! I will actually be spending my Christmas in England, as my significant other lives there. But it'll be my first time in England for Christmas, and only my 2nd time being away from home, so it's kind of bittersweet. But we're planning on exchanging gifts, going to see a pantomime, christmas light sightseeing and making Christmas cookies. Can't wait (but also not ready for it either, as I haven't purchased gifts yet!

Yes, I have started shopping. Our Christmas tree is standing here waiting for gifts to be arranged under it. I usually prepare a list of what I am gonna buy.
This time, I want it different from the previous years. So,I wanna come up with a different celebration. I might suggest a costume party where there will be a Santa Claus, an angel, a snowman, etc.
I am gonna bake a cake, lasagna, baked mac, our favorite menudo. I might do a stuffed roast turkey.
There will be games for the kids and lots of surprises. I wanna make up coz' I wasn't with them last Christmas. I was in Florida.
For the decoration, the usual christmas tree with xmas decor hanging and candies too. My motiff for my decor is electric blue and golden orange.
The kids are so excited. They made their christmas wish list.

As much as I want to, but unfortunately, I still don't have the money for it. I am still looking for the money to be spend for Christmas shopping. I cannot yet plan for it nor whom to give gifts since firt thing to consider always is the budget.

I have bought some new decorations so far for Christmas this year but that is about it. I have not actually got started on any of my gift shopping yet though. I have to wait until my money comes in to do so.

hi Buchi bulla, I had this week off and have started the Christmas Shopping online. Its much more convenient to get all the stuff delivered here by post office and not having to run around in the busy town. The calendars and books I am going to give as gifts are in the living room right now and only need to be wrapped, then the cards need to be written and attached and then they will be ready to give or send on their way.
We have planned something special this year for some family members and friends. We took our official wedding thank you photo and let that be printed on coffee mugs, we turned that photo in last Monday as I have the week off and could clarify some questions with the salesperson in the shop, and they phoned us to tell us the mugs are ready to collect. I have paid already with bank card, it tore quite a hole into the budget but Christmas is only once a year and so I dont mind.

However there are still some dear people in my life where I dont have the slightest clue of what I will give them for Christmas but I think I will have an idea right in time. I will first finish preparing the gifts which are here already and then see how things progress then.....

Not yet.. I don't do much shoppings but yeah.. I'm planning to buy something special for my dad and mom. And also planning to buy a nice 'churidar'[indian dress] for my little sis.:) But the shops are not yet filled with the christmas stuffs yet.

Yeah, Christmas is really very, very near. I always think that after my birthday next will be Halloween and then Christmas. It's really fast approaching. But so sad to say, I don't think I can start my shopping since I need to save these days....Maybe next year?? LOL...I don't know...

Christmas for some people in the Philippines will not be as merry. Sad because of the two killer typhoons that flooded part of our country and dislocated almost a million people. Not only that, families of the 1,000 persons that died will have to deal with their relocation as well as their grief all at once.:(

I am so far behing on my Christmas shopping this year its sad! This time last year I was done and wrapped.

Now this year I have a few things bought but have a lot to go! I do know what I am getting for every one.

My 8 year old daughter is getting a jewlery box and I am going to fill it with neat "kid" jewlery. And one special necklace with a charm holder. So that I can continue buying her charms.

My 12 year old son is getting well I'm not really sure about him. He's a hard one to shop for cause hes a little too old for toys but a little young for adult stuff. He's in that "tween" stage. I have a few ideas like video games or bored games but I'd like to get him a theme of things too.

My 2 year old is getting a barbie house and all the stuff to go with it. I'm looking forward to seeing her face!
