Bot in Yahoo Messenger Room

Do you ever chat in Yahoo Messenger Room. Well chat in a room actually very fun. But, most of Yahoo Messenger Room, beside the regional room actually full of Bot. Yahoo Actually already make a verification that made us hard to change room, but it seem it doesn't work for bot since many of yahoo messenger room is actually full of bot. What do you think of this bot? What your experience with them? Have you ever chat with them for a while? How long you realize that a person actually a bot.

Yes you're right. There are a lot of bots there and I hate them. Yahoo should prevent those bots from disturbing their users. They're losing users now because they don't want yahoo anymore and one good reason of it could be those stupid bots. At first glance I knew already if it's a bot or not so I immediately press the report as spam button.

Yes, bot is really are disturbing the user. But i think it is only disturb the room user. So, for those whose rarely use room will not run away. And, even the room user will not let go yahoo simply because of this. And also, the regional room usually have less bot so they will end up just go there instead of go the other room. Yes, most of it really are promoting adult site. Some other actually do nothing but lead us to a malware site which we will get virus and trojan from there. I don't know what is their benefit for ruining other computer. Anyway, thanks for responding to this discussion.

yeah true.. i used to chat in yahoo long back ..but not anymore... it feels like there are more bots than there are real chaters in yahoo chat rooms these days.. yahoo has some filter options too in which we aare asked to type words and letters ina picture and then only we are allowed in the room.. butt it is simply useless as we have all the bots in the rooms evern after all these measures..

yes there are lots of yahoo messenger chat. i used to be a heavy user of it but got tired of it. as i don't get any meaningful relationships through it. i hardly find friends there. only fights and etc. i hate bots. they turn up so often that it is really useless to report them cause they have always new accounts. they don't show up with same username. i wonder how they are able to generate so many names in chat room.

Yes, many of friend in yahoo room usually only become good friend for about one or two days, after that, it seem they move on and talk to some one else. And yes, i also wonder how come they make so many yahoo id at how come even if i always check if a bot bother me as a spam, it seem they keep coming and coming. Yahoo must do something about this.

Hi,
I too have come across the same. If anyone buzz me , I always doubt it as a bot. Esp., if it shows as a female... But most of the time never care to chat for any un-necessary purposes.. Only for business purpose and to get direct referrals for my programs... I really annoy if I have any message like "wanna see my video or pics" and something like that..

Yes, if an unknown girl, buzz you, and then simply tell you to watch her video and pics, if you think it with a perfect mind, you will found out that it's actually pretty impossible. But since the bot never actually gone, i think, for a few person, whose has lust bigger then his brain, the trick actually work. At least that what i think or else there is no point of making more and more bots. Isn't it? Thanks for replying this discussion.

I believe genius programmers can bypass this. Like what you said, even though Yahoo had already implemented something to prevent bots, they're still existing! This world is full of hackers you know!?!

Yes, it sure are. Like the internet technology, hacker technology also evolve as fast as the internet. And one really sad is, the hacker technology always one step a head of internet securities technology since the security technology usually evolve to deflect the hacker technology. Well if you want, you could meet many bot. Just log in to your yahoo messenger, and start joining a room. A room that are not regional. Start chatting to one of the people in the room list, and you will found out that they are not human. Usually they just give you a link to their so called web cam ( which is not, and mostly will lead you to a site with many malware)

Hello,
I have tried the Yahoo Menssenger Rooms outonce or twice, in my opinion it is a waste of time, if you are a business minded person, because there is nothing but children there playing many different games, and you always read about auguments that are going on inside the room, so to be it's a waste for me and a pain in a neck. Well i don't what room you enter, but, in my experience, i hardly found kids there. Especially in the regional room at my country. Most of them usually college kids to adult. But there is rarely talk in the room since they usually just search a person to do some private chat instead talk in the room. Thanks for responding this discussion.

It's very true that yahoo chat is full of bots. The main reason will be to promote adult sites. So I really don't like yahoo chat's because most of the girls will be either bots or engaged with someone else.

Yes, most of the girl in other room beside regional room usually is either bot, crazy people or a married woman. So i rarely go there anymore. But if you go to the regional room, and go to my country room, you will found there are many girl which actually still single.
