Why some people come at "FINISHING END" email this discussion to a friend?

Hello everyone here Ji,
On many fronts, my hubby wants to do all work of his own, may be taht he wants ton earn credit. In case I approach him to complete un-finished task, he will rebuke me with some comments, "To complete any job, one has start from teh begining". He may be right upto certain extent. But why he does not allow me to complete the task. Specially, when we are in Kitchen, he will dress up all vegetables, wash them and make them ready for cooking, no sooner, I extend my help for cooking, he will tell me to start fresh. has anyone else come across such a thing. While working on Lap-Top, if I just want to see my mail, he will leave it to me, but he will properly shut-down and then only I can re-start. Please share your experiences in the family as well as with others. Thanks in advance.

Respect the wishes and privacy of the other partner. Though married, we are individual being and we should not intrude our partners territories. I share your hubby characteristics as I am very much a private and independent person. My hubby and I do not mingle in our individual private lives.

So nice of your expressions and marking clear line between 'two individuals'. In fact, my hubby is of the view, one should start the job and complete of oneself. If single person can do the same job, why to extend help and waste otehr's time. Outcome from each job will fetch appriciation or displaesure from others. last moment entering is not good.

Hello my friend Lakota12 Ji,
I always feel boring when I work alone. At least, I want to give company to my hubby all the time. At the same time, he intends taht every single person at home as well as out side should bear individual responsibilities, so that 'individual's' work can be judged. Last moment entering may spoil the show and who should be blamed can be un-pleasin to both.

and here i am doing my husbands homework, sitting with him typing his assignment, coming up with his project presentation ..

if his drinking water is almost finishing .. he is so smart to ask me to bring some so that i can take the last one and start preparing the next

He uses the computer to play solitair and asks me to feed him his meal.

But some other time - he is totally different, he will wash and clean the house and do the laundry ... at his own free will which is like twice a year or so

Well I dont know if I agree entirely with your husband .I would see it if there was a persons who wanted was always coming at the end of a job and then wanted to bask in the glory even more that the person who did most of the work .However if I wasnt dealing with such a person then I wouldnt have a problem with someone with genuine intentions helping out .I hope you are not angry with me psychoanalysing your husband but it may be how he grew up and never getting credit for his work because of"some johny come lately " who was always sucking up his glory .I hope he will grow out of it and learn to share in his tasks.

My hubby is not at all after glory or even for taht purpose praise, but he never likes anyone helping, till he asked for. He is purely of the view, if a particular job can be done by himself alone, why not other memebrs also try, so taht other people in the family can do some other jobs and tehreby man power could be saved a lot in addition to increase in new heights in achieving any goal. If at all, some one is interested, onen should do combined right from the begining and not come at the last moment. May God help you and have great time. thumbup
