Do you like green bean casserole? Have you ever made it? If so, how do you make it?
I've only ever had green bean casserole a few times but when I did have it, I really enjoyed it! I was thinking about making it as a part of dinner tonight, so I was curious as to how others made it!
Do share. :-)

I only had green bean casserole a few times and I wasn't a big fan of it. My mother in law used to make it when we would get together for the holidays, she gave me the recipe a few years back. I have never made it myself but I would love to share:
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
4 cups cooked green beans
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup milk
1 1/3 cups French fried onion
Mix soup, milk and pepper in a casserole dish. Stir in beans and 2/3 cup of the fried onions. Bake 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. Top with the remaining 2/3 cup fried onions and bake about 5 more minutes, until onions are lightly browned.
Serves 6
If you decide to try it I hope you enjoy it =)

Like I said I have never tried it but I am sure it might still taste good without the fried onions too. You'll have to let me know and best of luck
Thanks for best response =)

I do like green bean casserole. I am the only one in my family who does though. My son wont eat it nor will my daughter. My husband used to eat it when he was alive and lived with us. My mother and father and sister and neice and nephew wont eat it either when I have brought it to family dinners. My mother called me tonight. I told her my son was helping me make the green bean casserole for dinner. She asked me what I put in mine and I told her basically just the soup, green beans, milk and onions. Theres more to it then that but I just told her the basics. She said her parents always put potatoes in theirs. I got to thinking yumm that sounds good so I chopped up some potatoes and threw it in with my green bean casserole. I cannot wait to try it there is about 20 minutes left before its done cooking.

It's really very simple to make. 2 CANS OF GREEB BEANS DRAINED, A CAN of mushroom soup, blak pepper, a DASH OF SOY SAUCE. STIR TOGETHER & PUT IN A BAKING DISH & PUT CANNED FRENCH FRIED ONIONS ON THE TOP & BAKE.

I love green bean casserole. When I was younger I had it every Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. My husband does not like green bean casserole so I do not make it anymore. I wish I lived closer to you so I could have some.
