Do you enjoy renting movies? If so, where do you rent them from?
My husband and I get movies through the mail from blockbuster (just like netflix.) But I also just discovered that our local library has a lot of great movies and you can borrow them for free!! I borrowed 2 this week and am watching them now.

I use to belong to netflix for two years. However I'm trying to save money and 10.00 a month does add up expecially if you don't have time to watch the movies that are coming in, plus not having a job.I don't want to waste money. So now I just rent from Redbox for $1 at my convenience. So I will probably only watch maybe a movie or two in one month if that.

My local library also had DVD's available to the general public, not as big a selection as say a blockbuster or netflix, the thing is you could only rent/loan one at a time and most of them were classics which I had already seen but I did go through quite a few. I don't generally rent movies now as I either watch them at the cinema and I have a large batch of movies to go through when I get the time, that came in various campaigns with magazines and collections and such, have to get through those first.
PS Remember to wipe and check the DVD from the library before putting them in your
player as one of the disks I loaned from my library had a scratch on it and
luckily for me it had a tag on the database or otherwise I would have had to
replace/pay for it and it was a special limited edition disk which was very
expensive. It is possible your library has a different policy though.

I like borrowing movies from the library, too! It's pretty awesome, although they usually are older and more obscure movies (which is all the same good with me - I LIKE old movies). The libraries in my area usually HAVE the newer movies, but they're ALWAYS checked out and ALWAYS have a waiting list of at least 10 people long (which is ridiculous). I still have Netflix, although I only get one at a time. I think I'm going to quit it soon, though, because I don't ever really end up WATCHING the movies. It takes me like 2 weeks just to find time to watch the movies in the first place; and after that long of a time..It's like, what's the point, even? Although $8 a month is crazy cheap - that's like 1-2 rentals at BlockBuster or Hollywood or whatever. I definitely prefer Netflix over anything else. ALTHOUGH - it only sucks when you want to be spontaneous - and you're with friends, who might not approve of whatever's on your queue - and want to watch something else.

I love Netflix it has everything and there are no late fees. I love not only renting movies but also tv shows. NO MORE COMMERCIALS YES! And I love the fact with the tv shows on dvd you can watch them in order and don't have to waste money buying something you may only once once or twice. Movies you watch over and over so I like to rent them first and then but them later. And another reason is all the extras you get on DVDs are great. I would recommend Netflix to everyone!
