If you want to get up and do a quick work out on your computer you can find videos to exercise with right there on Youtube. There are also cooking demonstrations on there and demonstrations on how to do other things too. You would be amazed at what you can find on Youtube, I have also seen on line classes for increasing web site traffic on there. Youtube is way more than funny and music videos.

There are simply tons of different advantages of YouTube, and I must say, credit is much deserved to who originally "gave birth" to the now globally-recognised website.

Firstly, you can earn cash from YouTube through many different means. For example, advertising on YouTube either through video or displaying a commercial banner on the side. Because of the sheer amount of traffic YouTube receives daily, the advertising costs will practically pay for themselves.

Next, you can, with enough talent and creativity, transform yourself into an online celebrity. All it takes is that one "master-piece" and the opportunites will begin rollin in.

Furthermore, because of the brilliant "Related Video" feature, you can broaden your horizons on whatever interests you. Fond of local bands who aren't particularly well-known? Then YouTube may cater to such tastes and even provide you with similar videos related to such interests.

For example, folding origami is now so much simpler. However for me, I visit youtube mostly to fuel my need to check out what's happening in celebrities' lives. Also, some videos are just interesting as they do stupid stuff, like how you can cut the queues to get into a club by posing as a DJ. The ratings and comments system are also an advantage as it can give people a good idea whether the video would be worth the time. And personally, I love commenting.

There's no physical hardware, for one. Everything is digital, so you don't need to worry about tapes, CD's, or DVD's. If you have a fast internet connection, its probably even faster and more space effective than storing the video digitally on your own hard drive.

I think its a good tool for promotion, especially if your a filmmaker, actor, or musician. Also a good way to let your creativeness come out.
