How much would an interior design cost?

My friend is planning on moving to a new house. But the house is bare and she wants to hire an interior designer. Do you know a good interior designer and how much would it cost nowadays to hire one?

I have a sister who is an architect but she also sometimes do interior designs of condominium. As far as I know professional fee will depend on the total cost of the place being designed, ranges 20%-30%. Anyways, it is still best if your friend can talk to a designer for her condo and be as candid as possible about her budget so they can work around the budget. Thanks.
