What things would you wish your kids would do differently?

We all have high hopes for the future (though we dread mostly of what may become of our kids in reality) what are the things you'd wish your kids would do differently than what you had done? I could remember my frustrations for being too shy when I was younger. I was shy in a way that I couldn't really blurt out what I wanted to my parents. It's not that I wanted to be spoiled, it was more in terms of decision making. It was after I finished high school and they asked me what I wanted to be (in preparation for the applications in college). I couldn't say I wanted to become a medical professional like them because I kept on hearing them (my parents) of how tough it was for them to send my eldest brother through medical school. So, instead I opted to go for a much cheaper profession. Have I blurted and became firm of what I wanted, I'm pretty sure I'd be a great doctor today. But I was too shy and didn't want my parents to worry that time. I have told them just recently of my desire before, and they simply said "Why didn't you tell us?" to which I could never really answer outright. So, I would wish that my kids would be more firm on what they truly want. I mean, they don't need to settle down for something lesser than their desires (most especially in terms of profession or education) because it's them that will have that life and not me (as a parent). So, what things would you wish your kids would do differently than you?

My baby daughter is four months old. I wish that she would play with toys. This would help her learn. My toddler son is poor at eating. I wish that he would become normal at eating. My teenage son is happy at school but I wish he would decide whart sort of job he would like to do when he is older.

Hello laydee. When I was young and when I graduated from high school, I knew what I wanted to learn and I was glad that I learned what I expected at college. I think that it is very important for one to choose and make a decision about what he wants to learn. I wish my son to choose to learn what he prefers, but it must be some major that will help find a good job.
