Telesales who won't talk to me!

No, really. Telesales who call and then refuse to speak to me -and these are calls from my own bank. We have a joint bank account and they keep asking to speak to hubby and then refuse to speak to me. I wouldn't mind but they are only trying to sell us something it isn't like sensitive information is being exchanged. That and the fact that they don't follow instructions. I spoke to one last week and told her to call back next month - when we might know where we are financially so there would actually be some point in speaking to an advisor. This week we've already had three calls - all for hubby - and it's only Wednesday. Then they wonder why I get annoyed and point out that if they are that disorganised and inefficient I'm not sure I trust them with what little money we have! Does anyone else have to deal with a bank or company like this?

Well if it is joint bank account they should be willing to speak to either of you, so the fact that they only want to speak to your husband is a bit weird- unless they are trying to sell something specifically to your husband. But if it is just general stuff about your account they should be able to speak to you. As for the fact that you asked them to call back next month and they are continually phoning you then this is just very poor customer relations. I would personally get in touch myself and make a complaint as you could say this is harassament.
