I never have anything to do with calls like that. Even if they are a genuine company, there are a lot of scams out there just trying to get your personal and financial details. Most book clubs have a minimum purchase requirement so what she has discovered isn't that unusual but I'm surprised it isn't written down somewhere in either paperwork or on the website - I doubt she could be held to...

Are you watching it?

Who do you think have been the best guests so far? I've enjoyed seeing Ross Noble who is new. I wish they could have Eddie Izzard on again, he only got to be on the pilot...

Spices.

Do you have a spice rack or, like me, an entire shelf in a cupboard of spices?

I like spicy food, especially Indian food, and I'm lucky enough to have a good Indian supermarket nearby where the...

Finding Things In Books

Have you ever found something in a library book or used book that fascinated you?

I buy most of my books second-hand from charity shops and sometimes there are things tucked in them. Usually it's...

Paying to be a sheep!

Someone in another discussion said that the trouble with a lot of people is they try to live as if they are millionaires for a day rather than ordinary people with ordinary incomes.

I did an internet search for getting rid of fruitflies and then did my own re-

search. Supposedly vinegar with a drop of dishwashing liquid was the best with a sandwich bag with a hole poked in it over the top of a glass jar and a rubber band securing it. I suppose if the...
