This is where anyone can tell us what they discovered about university after they started. The things that nobody tells you when you decide to go. I will start with a few things that I found out. Please add as many of your own as you can! 1) Your student loan won't even cover your rent, so if you haven't saved up any money you stand no chance of survival. 2) Your room will always be the coldest room, and there will always be someone's room bigger/better than yours. 3) There will always be one person in each of your classes that steals the limelight from everyone else. If you can't see that person, it is most likely to be you. 4) People will eat food which is way more out of date than they would ever consider to eat at home. 5) You would think that everyone has the ability to keep the kitchen clean. You think wrong.

I honestly couldn't stop thinking that in the first week, as everyone was so loud and made a lot of mess, I just kept thinking wow things were a hell of a lot easier when I was at home! But then I met a couple of really nice girls who I get on with really well, and I'm happy here now.. people are still very messy mind you!
