Kraft's Food & Family is no longer "free"

Bummer. I heard a rumor about this & I guess it is true. The food and family magazine I had been getting for several years now is $6.99/yr aka 6 issues. Wich granted isn't bad but people can get them for FREE online anyways. Anyone else get the bill? Are you going to subscribe or just look online for the their recipies as well as others?

I do not get this but I believe a lot of subscriptions are suffering now as it is too easy to go on line to look up their site or find recipes. Hard to believe hat someone would start paying for something that they put on the internet for free.

And sadly the magazine was a tool for them to promote their product lines just as their site is.

alas, we are in the midst of a time when nothing is 'free' anymore. i guess kraft decided that they needed to pay for ink and paper eh? what will you do? pay for it or look online?

look online of course if I remember to even bother looking @ their site. But in a way it sux cause hubby works for a printer & more places are going digital formatting instead of offering a print version anymore.

I won't pay for it. I can never use any of the recipes anyway, or very few. They have too much fat and calories for me even though they are really attractive. I think I'll cancel my online newsletter, too. It's just too tempting.
