1. oraclemv (2498) | 3 months ago | That is normal, a lot of children don't start walking until 14-18 months. Mine started walking at 8 months but that is early and people are shocked to see them walking and still so small!
Is she pulling herself up on the furniture? That is called cruising, it takes a couple months after this before they start walking but I don't know with older children, she needs to build up the strength in her legs. You can stand her up to help her build some strength but I would not worry if I were you. In fact consider yourself lucky because once they start walking it is hard to keep up with them! At least she isn't too mobile now and you can still keep a close eye on her.

3. NoirAngelique (238) | 3 months ago | Neither of my children took one step until they were 15 months old. When she is ready, she will start. It's really nothing to worry about at this time. I wouldn't push it on her, that could create other problems. Sounds like she's doing fine!

4. much2say (706) | 3 months ago | If you have any developmental concerns, take your baby to to the pediatrician. I'm sure he/she will access her develpment - if anything to ease your mind! My little one was quick with most things as well - except for walking. She finally walked independently when she was 14 months . . . she never even really went throught the crawling stage. Soon enough she even passed the boys in physical abilities. We had a friend who's daughter didn't walk til she was 16 months old and she's totally fine! It all comes in time!

6. Ritchelle (1888) | 1 month ago | my son was also late in walking. i think the ultimate time for this waiting to walk is 1 1/2 years old. at least, she's quick in learning other things so there is nothing to worry about.
