That forbidden "F***" word |
|
Whenever I heard someone I knew speak this "F" word, I would surely burst into anger and reprimand the person who said it. I never used it deliberately, but sometimes would would prefer to use another word. When I wanted to use it I would say "You're so cute". That way the person whom I'm referring too would not fell very down and react the same way I react when I heard it.
A co-worker yesterday tells me that when he got home the other night, he overheard one of his grade school kid yelling that "F" word to his brother in their room. He was shock and had to talk to his son, where on earth did he learn such forbidden word. His son says that he overheard it too from a bully in their school and he said that if he said that word, he will look more tougher. The rest is a Dad & child thing.
I haven't encountered it yet and have talk to my kids about it. That its very, very rude to say that word to anyone. And I'm hoping they keep it that way. But, only time can tell.

But, with the way it is used right now it is highly probable that he will get it and get to use that to express his disgust with someone or something. But I think beofre he would do that I hope he understand what it means and how bad that word could affect other persons.

Consequently we presently say it without thinking about it. We might think about it soon and understand they were offensive by not generally, mainly when you're a persistent potty mouth. In time the F-word will mainly likely become an ordinary child swear, such as few butt-head are today. Swearing has occurred before, Shakespeare mad a swear word like "Frog-eyed" that citizens think were the most horrible swears ever. Today, it's acceptable for a cartoon to say it. "Freaking" used to as well be a swear word, but now it's used in SpongeBob Squarepants (I'm not kidding). In general, people use the F word because of its recent regularity in society. For me I never use it because when I was young my mom would whip me if I ever swear.
