Yes, i would surely do if my friend is very close to me as i care for my friend and i want my friend to live happily and lead a good life, However,if i feel that telling this "stuff" to their spouse might cause tension and lead to divorce, i would think twice and will speak to my friend personally to change him

No I wouldn't tell the spouse, but I'd suggest that there's a lot at stake by doing so.
I'm sure that some people do it for the excitement and the danger aspect associated with it. And yes it can be very dangerous to all concerned including the kids if there are any.

for me, i'll first tall to my friend.. i'll tell her that what she's doing is not right... and she needs to make a choice if she wants to continue her relationship to her lover to to her family...what is more important for her... as much as possible if her relationship with her lover is not that deep, she just need to give it up.. dont waste her family for something that is not worth it...

Yes i will definitely tell my frnd spouse about it but first of all i will try to tell my frnd tht not to cheat and try to be honest and if he doesnt thn i ll tell his/her spouse....

If any of my friend is upto this kind of mischief, I will be the first person to tell his/her spouse but first i would talk to my friend about it and tell him that what the person is doing is wrong. As a friend its my duty to guide him which path is wrong and which is right. But still if he/she doesn't stop it, i would definitely tell his/her spouse. Because i cant stand infidelity, no matter wheather its my friend.

Hi, rondita, I think I won't be the truth teller. You know, telling truth to the spouse always makes it worse.
But I will try my best to persuade the cheater to tell the truth by himself/herself. Sometimes, they have to cheat before they cannot find better way, which is there indeed. So I will help them to find the better way.
In another side, maybe I also help to talk with spouse. But unless it's necessary, I won't do it. Coz I don't think it's a good way, as I don't want to involve in other's family too much. You know it's always troublesome.

hi rondita, it really puzzled me with this problem. i have a friend, and i know she is cheating her husband, what's worse, her husband is also my friend, i do not know what i should do, i can not make a decision that no harm to both of them. i have not think out a good idea untill now even some friends on mylot gave me good advices. but one thing i am sure is i would not tell her husband.

It is a difficult situation because sometimes I don't know the friend's spouse very well and how she/he will react to it. I could end up being accused of busy body or spreading rumors. So, I guess I will just remind my friend about what she/he's doing is not healthy to the marriage. If she/he wants out, it's best to do it the right way.
