Excited for a night in...

I feel ya! I love a night in after a crazy/busy week. Tonight I'm in just doing the laundry and hanging out at home with my husband. I'm flipping through the TV stations trying to find a good, scary movie but there aren't really any on that I'm interested in, unfortunately! Have a great weekend and a Happy Halloween!

no, not a dork just happy for some down time. today was super busy and hubby has taken the kids to their different events and i am hunkered down watching old perry mason dvds! YAY!

Well, since I'm responding to this post right now, I'd say that pretty much sums up my Friday evening.:-)
2 of my children are gone, my son and husband are "killing" each other on some video game, and I get peace and quiet at the computer. I assure you, this is a rarity!
10-15 years ago when I was "partying" you wouldn't catch me dead at home on a Friday evening, now it's almost the other way around.
But I'm so content w/ my life (most of the time) that I absolutely love it!

Oh my gosh! I couldn't wish for a better scenario such as that!

I do appreciate some alone time, even from my boyfriend as well! And I know he appreciates his alone time too!

It's really great to have the place to yourself really, and not to think about other people for a change. I don't think it's a sign of dorkness, I think it's humanity. We need to just have our 'alone time' and it is equally important after a crazy week as you mentioned.

WhEw! Can't wait to have my alone time!
